A guy's got to have a dream and there is a space in my man cave, so it's a serious enquiry.

I was after one and took me over 2 1/2 years before a decent one came up, in that time I think I looked at 3 and were overpriced and tired. I think there are something like 36 uk spec bikes but a lot more went to the US. If you are happy to buy blind and do the shipping it might be a way to go. If not keep looking and one will turn up eventually.

A pal of mine bought a very low mileage 749R about two years ago, absolutely pristine, beautiful bike and very reasonably priced, lucky blighter!

If your prepared to import one, then one has just been put up on e-bay from USA. Original with 8500 miles.

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look for it but the VAT and duty tend to take the shine off US imports.

Cheers

Edit: Looks like a very nice bike. I wonder what the final price will be, could be worth a punt but I expect the locals would snap it up first.

I'm one of the oddballs that prefers Dukes in yellow rather than red, not on the frame though.

Thanks
