Breakfast Sunday 13/10/19
It’s October breakfast time, Al’s away at a trials meeting next Sunday but I’m
heading down to Mickey’s Diner for 10am if anyone else fancies it. https://goo.gl/maps/owUGwWTasEh87gKj9 |

I'm hoping to be along, probably not on the bike unless my eye injury heals faster than expected.

A 90 degree die grinder and a moments inattention in not flipping down my face shield after inspecting progress blending a weld resulted in a trip to A&E to get a metal particle picked out of my eye with a needle.

Jesus, hope it's not too much pain now they've seen to you.

Post procedure when the local wore off was much worse than the injury for both pain and vision, the following day was uncomfortable but not too bad and the next day was pain free.
From the procedure where the vision though the eye was so blurry I could at best make out general shapes but only where objects were large and contrast was high it has improved day by day and should return to normal eventually.

That sounds excruciating Andy!
I wish you a very short recovery. Hope everything gets back to normal soon.

Based on my experience many years ago (woodwork at school) blurred vision is the local anaesthetic affecting things
