Sidestand for S2R - SSR Sidestand
I'm not happy with how far the S2R leans on the sidestand, I end up giving it a little shake to make sure it won't fall over. In comparison my Honda doesn't feel like it's leaning at all!
Has anyone used one of these? https://www.slingshotracing.net/cata...and-p-205.html |

Rather a small footprint, don't you think? You'd definitely have to carry a separate plate for soft ground/hot tarmac. I've made shoes for various bikes to lengthen the sidestand and widen the base, and I've certainly seen shoes for sale recently but can't remember where...

I'd be inclined to weld a 'foot' onto the existing stand at that price

I have that one. I've also added another inch. (suspension changes)
Works well. Sturdy. The foot is small, but that has never bothered me. When it's new, it doesn't hit the ground level - after a year or two it's level. |

By some coincidence I was actually looking at these yesterday as well, well this one for the S4:-
https://www.slingshotracing.net/cata...sic-p-287.html My stand is slightly bent and when compared to what people are asking for a s/hand stand the price is not so bad.

I had some aluminium feet made up 20mm and 30mm about 40mm wide from round ally bar ,
theni had them counter sunk 8mm deep for 6mm allen bolt , drilled the standard side stand for 6mm thread and attached correct length foot with Stainless allen bolt and loctite .. works brilliant on S4 and 2000 M750 .whch noth have raised back ends
