I've only gone and bought one

Just when i was on the verge of giving up.
I'm now the proud owner of a beautiful bouncy boy - 695.
Picked it up today and rode it 60 miles home without a hitch.
Although i've noticed a bit of emulsifing on the right hand oil glass.
Runs sweet and a little bit loud with Termignoni's.

You couldn't have picked a better day to go and collect your new bike!

Glad you're enjoying it so far, and hope the view in the oil glass is nothing too serious.

You've clearly entered into the spirit of the forum (with the wheelie bin in the background of your photo of the new bike).

Well done, nice looking example and those Termis sure are loud but all part of the Monster experience, I've got a similar 50mm full system on mine, makes me popular with the neighbours, but they're used to it now and I don't take the p revving it up at all hours unlike the local yuths with scooters and loud spannies who just seem to rev for the sake of it ? The oil misting should clear after a few good long runs, maybe clean out the crank breather vent and pipe work and change the oil.

One of the few bikes I've felt comfy on, and had a nice blast through the hindhead tunnel

Well done. Nice bike and in the proper colour. I'm a fan of the old school headlamps. My 1100evo with 3.5k that I got recently had a misting in the oil view glass whatsit. I rang the dealer with my concerns about emulsion and they simply stated that it's just a bit of condensation and quite normal. After a run the oil is still clear. I shouldn't worry......

Congratulations on your new bike. I love the sounds you can generate in the hindhead tunnel!! (Always nice to see only front facing average speed cameras)

Bike looks very nice, I started off on a 695 7 years ago and had great fun on it.
And a big welcome to the club.

Nice one - I really like the 695, and that one looks lovely.

Welcome, etc.
