Iom tt 2010

This is the first year I've been properly watching the TT and it's awesome! Especially with all the new camera angles and stuff.

One question though: How come no Ducati's ? Not enough top end?

My mate was going to buy an 1198s for his team but couldn't get a good enough deal, so he bought a Gixer 1000 instead.
Alan Conner from NI is riding it in the superstock in the Worx Suzuki team, so look out for him.
I'm setting off on Monday morning to catch the ferry from Heysham, i'll be wearing my overalls all week, as i'm in the team, probably cleaning the visors.

Went to TT in 2003

It was a working visit with NABD but still a great experience

My mate enters bikes in most classes, I asked him why no Ducatis

Simple answer, each lap is 37 miles, therefore two laps equals 74 miles.

Ducatis wont do 74 miles on a tank at racing speeds, no big tanks allowed, therefore no Ducatis.

Me and Rog were there on Monday watching some qualifying, and there were definitely a few dukes there.

Great experience watching it - we'd watched the Southern 100 pre-TT classic races in the morning on the Bilown circuit, so the sheer speed of the bikes (and sidecars!) on the main course was just astounding! We watched on an s-bend in the southern part of the course and they must have been going through there at around 100mph.

Already planning on going back next year with a few other MOCers, and taking our trail bikes with us!

No wonder he's in 43rd position, he's 'ONLY!' doing an average speed of 114.594 mph......!

Yeah I've been watching it on TV and it's crazy!

I also saw the Ducati break down

Quite a few seemed to break down, and I'm not surprised! 2 laps per tank! The whole thing is sheer madness! Average speeds of over 130mph for the leaders is just astonishing.

As for the sidecars - I think you have to be certified insane to even be allowed on one....
