S4R Owner spot the difference
Ok so i collected this on Saturday, i have done a little online research but would be interested to know how much of this is non stock.
Rearsets are an obvious one and i removed the rear pillion pegs, i also think the exhaust is routed diffrent from a standard S4R. Mirrors are terrible so i am guessing not original either. Anything else? ![]() free photo upload ![]() post image online ![]() image hosting without account |

correct on all counts: silencers side by side , rather than stacked. de-cat link pipes, cycle cat rearsets. (probably) rizoma mirrors.
samco radiator hoses. painted teatray. clear rear lens. aftermarket clutch/brake levers. carbon clutch cover/number-plate bracket/stick-on tank pad & (i think) radiator side plates/chainguard looks like someone (very sensibly) has added radiator and oil cooler guards looks like a nice clean bike ... & hello and welcome :-) Last edited by slob; 16-02-2015 at 10:45 PM.. |

Those brake/clutch levers are Ducati Performance by DPM. The carbon radiator side plates are S4 not S4R I think. The S4R ones are nicer. Nice bike though!

The exhaust is a full 50mm DP item and came as part of a kit that included SPS cams and ECU. I have this system and is the first time I have seen another

Thanks for the feedback
![]() @Capo what are the sps cams? and could you tell if you have them without stripping the engine? Sounds loud and personally i prefer the under seat confg over the stock so not fussed either way. and i presume tea tray is the rear lights bit?? |

![]() Yes 50mm its a full DP system. Part number 96445304B Corse High Kit, in carbon, Ø 50mm; the set includes four camshafts with more performing profiles, engine control unit and high-performance air filter. Nice! ![]() I have only seen this kit on 2 other bikes.

![]() ![]() ![]() It cost £1433 (in 2004) not including fitting the cams and thats an engine out and heads off job. If you can get the number(s) off the ECU, I can tell you if it is the DP item. The fitted kit increases the horse power from 113 to 121, limiter is at 10.5k (500 above the std ecu) I actually have this system surplus to requirements less the cams as I had it replicated in titanium and use a Nemesis ECU. SPS cams are hard to find these days. |

Thanks for the feedback, chuffed with the exhaust as it's always nice to get something you had no idea was a bonus
![]() May as well continue the trend of the previous owner and start with just a couple of small mods........ahem! |
