Just a quick update on this bike.

It passed an MOT a few weeks ago, but isn't getting used much as I'm actually finding my 999 easier to ride. More on that in another thread.

Late last year I added a small screen, and have also swapped the dial faces out for White ones which I find not only much nicer to look at, but easier to read:

Major bits of the spec are now:
Monster M1000 DS ie
04 Reg
Not sure of original spec.
10 months MOT
Remus Ducati Performance mid-level Exhausts.
Power Commander.
K&N Air Filter
Hyperpro rear spring on Showa remote res Rear shock
Multistrada Reg-Rec.
Hybrid 848/1098/SS Forks with Multistrada 1200 Radial Brake Calipers
Standard Master cylinders with Multistrada reservoirs
5 Spoke wheels
Carbon Front Mydguard
Carbon Side panels
Carbon heal guards
Monster 696 Front headlight Fairing.
Clock faces swapped for White from SS Model Clocks

Very nice Simon.
You missed S4(?) top yoke/clipons.
Methinks that must be a 695 fairing rather than 696.

Thanks Slob.
The clip-ons are S4, but the top yoke is ST, which could be the same anyway.

Really struggling to access the site at the moment so doing this very slowly on my phone, but I've had to make the decision to sell. Will try to access the site on a less secure machine over the weekend to raise an ad and explain.

Sad as it is that it's come to this, you'll have no trouble selling it with that spec.
It's better than the Sie version.
I'm tempted myself, but not sure I even want another petrol bike.

I’m really sorry to hear that mate. I assume you tried it with flat bars ratger than clip-ons? I slways found rearsets with stock(ish) bars the most comfortable arrangement, but then I’m quite a bit shorter than you.
I did weekly (Iyengar… there are about a dozen different flavours of) Yoga classes for ten years, always hated the act of doing it but the physical benefits were undeniable.
