Albie - I was in Ducati Manchester just before the lockdown and Geoff's Scrambler was in there on display in all its modified glory. They were saying that they won't ever sell it. Story is they gave it to him after years of delivering bikes for them and refusing to get paid. Bab's gave it back to them after his passing. Some people are just so incredible

Do you know what I know that story. We often talked scrambler. The subject was a bit taboo 5 years ago. When he got his I had mine a year or so but weird thing was he took that full throttle and put it back almost to an icon but better. I was doing the reverse.
If anyone offered me his bike i would have to refuse because it comes with a huge burden knowing that Geoff owned it. I couldnt be that guy. Jim has his 1100s with that pressure.
I'm glad it went back to base.
