Well, if you run out of lockdown diversions and want something to do...
Remove the arm from the spline and the shift rod from the arm. Replace the M6 x 1 bolt but don't tighten it - insert it just enough to engage the threads of the nut leaving a gap between the bolt head and arm. Support the arm either side of the nut and whack the bolt head. That should dislodge the nut.
