Five days later I called Be Moto, to be informed they had lost the information and was asked to 're supply.I didn't bother as the first call took nearly an hour.

Yes that sounds like par for the course with insurance brokers-well the majority anyway. The more complex your situation the longer it takes to get an alternative quote and I have to say whenever I've tried (for my multi bike policies anyway) - the quote has never been much if any cheaper.
