A little late, but I can tell you that its a 3 bolt fixing.
The lower pair of the five is a separate fixing for the number plate light, which attaches via a right-angled bracket. I think these are M5, while the other, main fixing points are M6.
Its the same as is fitted to my yr 2000 M750.

I already have a carbon one and I fitted stainless studs into the threaded sockets.
It was a while ago but I probably used high strength loctite.
Then stainless nylock nuts on the studs.
The studs make removal and refitting easier too.

The carbon trays look nice but, as is often the case with carbon trim, they're a little on the flimsy side.
The result is that, when fitted with the std indicators (and nothing else matches the curves properly) the indicators bounce around a bit as the thin carbon isn't stiff enough to support their weight.
I'm going to beef mine up with some extra laminations (probably of twill weave glassfibre rather than carbon, though using epoxy resin) on the reverse side.
....... when I get around to it.

£45 is a friendly price, in my opinion.
