I'm no Velo fellow, so I'm not sure what it is. I'm guessing a Viper?
Definitely from a different era, but even then Velocette ploughed their own furrow.
Look at all the chainguards round the primary drive case! A tyre inflator under the tank.
And adjustable rake rear suspension.. What's the effect of moving the shocks forwards and backwards? More progressive towards the front and more load bearing when upright?
Note the chair mounting brackets on the frame. A Velocette with chair fitted is known as a motorpike and sidecarp, due to the fishtail silencer..
