They are asking for evidence that the hotel is no longer trading. I tried to explain (very patiently) that as the hotel was not responding to emails or telephone calls it would be virtually impossible to obtain such evidence. They even rang the hotel themselves & confirmed number unobtainable - but they are still asking for evidence!

Hi Paul, firstly I am sorry you are having to go through this, hopefully some news that may assist. I still have the e- mail that the hotel eventually sent on the 9th April. It's very brief but states the hotel stopped trading and if you follow the string lists all the names of people booked. That should be proof enough.
