My replacement was 12.5mm longer than the standard S4 one IIRC. I can confirm a very noticeable handling improvement and no issues with the side stand at all. The bike now sits more like it should, feels more neutral without the standard rear bias which always gave a vague feeling at the front when cornering at speed.
