Ive got a 95 bike (manufactured late 94). It has the centrally mounted, but when I rang Snells and asked them to reverse check what models used the handlebar type Part No 65540031A they reeled of a whole load of bikes amongst which was M900 93-99 ( I think, but certainly mine).
So I guess that indicates maybe not what they had originally, but what is available now and fits.
Whatever, it looks like the handlebar type 65540031A will work on a set of clip ons.
