So the rod should run to the inside with the nut so the bolt would slide through. So that’s cool.

Except mines has had the nut put on the wrong side and forced in to the recess and won’t come out. So the nut is essentially on the outside with the bolt on the inside with the rod pivot.

I’ll take a pic tomorrow to show you. I’m just wondering if my rear sets make the rod run at too much of an angle inwards.

It’s been like this for 15k miles

I’ve only really noticed it as I’ve always wanted the gear lever slightly further down and the rod was always getting towards the end of its adjustment so then I tried to move the part on the splines and suddenly noticed the pinch bolt couldn’t go back in as it fouled the casing.
