This is very true although I have just seen that new regulations for 2014 Licenses mean it is now mandatory to complete the on track assessment which was previously only optional.

You don't have to do it on a race bike as at most circuits the ACU course is done during a track day (which you're still part of) and it's simply a case of answering the multiple choice paper during the lunch break and then afterwards you do a few laps where you're followed by one of the instructors to prove you're a competent rider- you don't even have to be that fast- just not dangerous.

Simples.....do it!!!
