How do you mean "dipped isn't".
Do you have nothing at all on dip or does it stay on main ?
Obviously, if nothing at all, first check would be the bulb.
Ok that's obvious but I mention it because you will probably then have to remove/refit the headlamp rim .. and its a bit fiddly sometimes.
If you can test the bulb via its wires rather than removing it, you might save yourself some fiddling and frustration.

How does the dip/main button feel ?
Is it nice and slick/positive or does it feel sticky/vague ?
Either way, my first call would be to squirt a little WD40 (or in my case, my preferred GT85) in there, and operate the button a few times to see if that sorted it.
