....And they did have a tendancy to snap for no reason at one time. (Chains not braces). Regina were the ones I seem to recall reading about so it's there just to protect your cases if you are unlucky. But I agree if you are then you probably have more important things to worry about but a wrecked engine wouldn't be one of them.
