You'll want something that lets you lift the swingarm and rear wheel, either chocks, a stand or a helper. You'll probably find it too heavy to lift with one hand while fitting the shock with the other and holding bolts in your teeth ;-)
Abba stand should work nicely to hold most of the bike up. I usually use a pair of axle stands under my rearsets, although they're the solid type, it won't work with folding footrests unless you swap their sides first so they fold the other way.
