Strange! I enquired with Nitron in March 2018 about an R3 shock for my 2006 ducati monster S2R 1000 and was told (by Alex Kernahan of the Nitron Sales Team)
"The part code for the shock you need is NTBKD05RH which is the same as the Ducati Monster"
I didn't go ahead in the end as the lead times were not going to work for me (they'd moved factory and had something of a backlog).
So they were doing an R3 shock filment for the S2R 1000 at least as recently as 2 years ago...
