Ok firstly thanks for all the help etc. Tonight I have achieved the result I needed with an early seat fitted with I have to say a brand new seat cover and of course the seat cowl now fits perfect. I even tried just to for tryings sake reshape the nos seat but although I got the back to sit down the front of the hump the gap in the middle is still there even me trying to radius the sides more. This seat will now be recovered with a non cowl seat cover sometime. I can probably make another good old seat with a bit more effort too.
Glad that's over as next week has an important date.
