Just a little more work but a benefit to me is now the engine is off the ground safe. I made an engine stand and this is MKII as MKI would have been too high off the deck and needed complicated brackets drilling and or welding to the pipe. This one is stable and will not tip and made from industrial electrical conduit. It also just uses the rear engine points with M10 treaded bar 300mm long.

At the moment its just dry assembled no starter no clutch plates no pistons just to prove its ok.

Now I just need to respray that clutch cover again as its not the right shade now as done 2 years ago and has a slight chip too..
Oil level plate is being restored as in being blacked out again around the letters by an artist friend with detail brush.

Needed now my list
belts
clutch plates
brake pads
full gasket set
gasket seal for starter motor
oil seal gear change
belt adjuster bearings x 4
clutch pressure plate bearing
