Interesting.
I always use Esso Synergy Supreme+ because in my area it doesn't contain ethanol. My bike always starts instantly, even if left for a month or more (famous last words)! Don't know how it would be on their standard grade fuel though.
It does pop a bit on the overrun, but I put that down to the aftermarket cans I fitted.
I have used other fuels (not supermarket though) if I've been caught short on a run and I've had no issues, but I have always topped up with Esso super-unleaded asap.
