Since this was posted I've gone into this a bit further as I think it will be a fantastic excuse (like I need one) for a jolly boys weekend away racing in the future.

So here's the latest information I have for those tempted to un-leash their competitive side.

You don't need to have an ACU licence- your normal full motorcycle entitlement will suffice.
You don't need one piece leathers either- two piece (presumably with a full zip) will satisfy the scrutineers. No textiles though.
New type ACU Gold stamped helmet (two black lines round the stamp)
Gloves and boots and you're good to go.
