Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Yeah - it is a bit of a different direction, but I injured my shoulde rlast year and was finding the weight on the bars on the Blade a bit too painful. So the time has come for something a bit more sedate and comfortable. Happily though I've discovered, the Monster isn't as sedate as I was expecting. Which is good!

Some cracking roads right on your doorstep as well.

Hello and welcome !
I'm nearer Newcastle too, Stoke is just my nearest postal city. Some great roads nearby. I can usually be found up the Cat & Fiddle or Leek/Ashbourne way

Asking for suggestions from the forum for further ideas to mod the bike is taking a risk! Modifying a monster can become on obsession. The level of accessories available is mind boggling.
Exhaust.... Carbon for just about every part...wheels...seat... Ecu....handlebars...rearsets....etc!

Enjoy the madness
Yeah - I'm noticing there is quite a decent amount of accessories available - even more so than the Fireblade! The only issue I've run into so far is connecting up my Optimate. Had to spend £30 on an adapter cable for the Ducati port!
