Well there's a good bike hiding under some ghastly clothes there! I'm sure you will be the best thing that's ever happened to that bike.
I spotted this way back in 2016 and noted the parallelogram links on the swinging arm, presumably to tackle the shaft drive's torque reaction?
I'm not for a second suggesting that you build anything as cliched as this, but thought there might be some brain food in the linkages?
I'm hoping you will keep us posted on here when you start the build... Please..
