I would only use E10 if nothing else was available and you certainly wouldn't want to leave any E10 (or even, to be safe, E5) in the tank if you're laying the bike up over winter. Ideally, use Esso Synergy Supreme+, which is still ethanol-free in most areas. It's more expensive but I for one am prepared to pay the extra for the peace of mind.

By the way, if you're getting the Monster back on the road after a considerable lay off, don't forget your belts may need changing...
