Before removing the instruments take off the knob for the odometer. That is held onto the shaft with a small screw and put in a findable safe place.
Then either remove the headlight shell, or the instruments: you don’t have to remove both.
The back of the instrument panel is held in place by two dome headed nuts removal of those allows the plastic cover to be removed, revealing the bulb holders.
I’d change them all whilst in there as they weren’t dear last time I bought some.
Then put it all back as you found it: Simples!
