Soooo, would be interested in any feedback as to what these bikes are like.Obviously they are rapid and probably handle really well but are they reliable (yes,I did follow the thread by Dilkris) No problem if people say...noway,don't do it !! But,what are they like to live with?

I also get the feeling they might become an appreciating "classic" but what do you guys reckon? Answers on a postcard please hahaha.

Thanks in anticipation

They are a lot of fun! I have a S4RS in (my favourite colour) pearlescent white/red frame which I bought on a whim 3 years ago - I also have a S2R800, a Multistrada 1100 and a 999. They are all 'keepers' for different reasons - I don't really like the newer Monsters, for me the S2R models are the last of what I consider to be real Monsters. Just my personal opinion!

The S4RS never fails to put a smile on my face - if I had to keep just one bike that is the one I'd choose. I do think they are well balanced, it is plenty fast enough but also stops well and it sounds lovely (mine has a full Termi system) - the sound is really addictive.

You wouldn't be disappointed if you bought one!

Cheers, Martin
