80s BMWs used the same size Bosch headlamp as our Monsters. R80, R90 and R100 ect.
So possibly they employed the same clip too?

Edit.. Actually took the trouble to read my own link (which I have had stored on my "favorites" for ages)
If you select "buy now" from the home page, you will see that it says you can buy individual pieces from the assembly... So presumably clips are available here?
