My Christmas present to me last year was a Clarke 24v cordless impact wrench

It's rated to 220Nm so makes short work of the rear wheel nut at 176Nm. (Sadly, not quite tough enough for the flywheel though at 270 Nm). The good thing is, you don't even have to lock the wheel to undo the nut; just holding the tyre by hand is enough to stop it rotating.
