My M900 has a 1098RS oil cooler which uses push in fittings on the cooler end and so requires specific hoses, however the RS lines were too long so I took them to a local Pirtek who cut 30mm off and re-swaged the existing fittings back on (they didn't have new ones of the correct type) to the shortened line for beer money.
If you can get hold of some longer hoses from something like an MTS1000 (has very long hoses as the cooler fits on the bottom yoke) this might be an easy option?
