I know what you mean about prices but remember, the donor bike doesn't have to be road legal so potentially any running bike could be made to get through race regs relatively cheaply- parts are still cheap for them.
As far as I know there are only two classes, one for relatively standard 'C' models with a maximum capacity of 90cc and an 'Open' class for fully modified bikes not exceeding 110cc. All must have the semi auto three or four speed gearbox.
I don't even know of that many other step through bikes that are similar other than Yamaha's 'mate' range but the T80's shaft drive so limited on gearing changes even if it were to be accepted and the chain driven V70's are two stroke (not a bad thing if allowed). I know Suzuki did one years ago but it's really only Honda that's stayed with it having sold a Ga-zillion of the things!
